Muscle Whisperer (LMT) & Co-Founder
Alex Coleman is a licensed massage therapist who graduated from the International School of Skin, Nailcare, and Massage Therapy (ISSNMT) and is a co-founder of Energy Works ATL. She was born in Bogota, Colombia where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Journalism from the Sabana University, holds an MBA from Kennesaw State University, and has over 20 years of experience in business and customer service. Alex is a certified provider of prenatal, deep tissue, Swedish, sports, chair, hot stone, and Himalayan hot stone massage. She also holds certifications in reflexology, neuromuscular therapy, body polish, body wrapping, lymphatic drainage, spa therapies, and aromatherapy. She has also completed Reiki I, II, and Master Reiki certifications to ensure an integral approach to every client’s needs.

Karla Montgomery-Ramirez
Miracle Worker (LMSW) & Co-Founder
Karla Montgomery-Ramirez is a psychologist graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) from Kennesaw State University, and a co-founder of Energy Works ATL. She provides individual and family therapy to adolescents and adults living both in the metro and surrounding areas of Atlanta, Georgia. Her own experience as an immigrant has inspired her to dedicate her efforts in supporting the growing migrant population in the area. She utilizes her knowledge and training working in the intersection between mental health, education, and culture. Her focus is to provide trauma-informed and culturally-competent direct and group services through psychosomatic methodologies, but also understands the importance of enacting change at the community and policy levels as a way to enhance every individual’s wellbeing.

Lindsay Stewart
Miracle Worker (LMSW) & Youth Engagement Coordinator
Lindsay Stewart is a soon-to-be miracle worker, or commonly known as a licensed social worker. She graduated with her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Mississippi and earned her Masters of Social Work from Kennesaw State University. Her studies focused on developmental, social, parenting, multicultural, and learning psychology courses. Along with working at Energy Works ATL, Lindsay is an independent contract therapist at DK Counseling Services, LLC. She works with children, adolescents, and adults working with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and socialization skills and uses evidence-based practice to help children, adolescents, and families build their “toolbox” and shape positive behavior change. In the past, Lindsay has worked, mentored, and volunteered in a variety of after school settings with children and adolescents. She has worked to create, maintain and build-capacity for multiple organizations that focus on empowering and educating our future leaders, but always practices from a non-judgmental, person-centered, holistic perspective to help each individual identify and achieve their personal goals.

Alejandra Mejia Rojas

Alejandra Mejía Rojas is a multidimensional Holistic Therapist, sound healer, and angelic Reiki master. In her work with 14 years of experience, she has learned to rebalance and order the body’s bioenergetic fields and helps individuals connect to the sacred energy of their heart to offer a comprehensive healing experience. Her academic background includes music, specialized in vocal technique, design, and Holistic Therapies. Her holistic approach focuses on healing the body’s energy centers knows as "chakras", both on the dorsal and frontal side, and includes training on Pranic Healing, Usui Reiki, Fushi Healing, Shiatsu, Flower Essences, Atlantean Elixirs, Akashic Records, Turquoise Therapy and Sapphire therapy, Antares Codes, and Arcturian Codes. She is currently getting a doctorate in Bioenergetics and Sintergetics at the Synergetics International Association. Her goal is to help each consultant connect with their own essence and the sacred space of their heart to heal every aspect of their being. Through these methods individuals will be able to find physical, energetic, and emotional balance, while enhancing their own gifts, virtues, talents, and inner light.

Richard Carter is a Licensed Massage Therapist from the International School of Skin, Nailcare, and Massage Therapy (ISSNMT) and holds certifications in sports massage, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, Swedish massage, hot stone massage, body polish and wraps, prenatal massage, reflexology, aromatherapy and chair massage. He uses very steady and deep pressure to release tension, and likes to incorporate all modalities to address the particular needs of each of his clients. Originally from the Heroic City of Puebla de los Angeles, Mexico, she emigrated to the United States in the 2000’s with the full certainty of living great experiences. This is how she found her life partner and father of her two children, along with whom she has experienced love, adventures and challenges, such as recognizing different facets of her being as a reflexologist. Being a reflexologist is more than a job, it is her passion. She has always believed that feet are beautiful, that they are the support and the root of our temple, our body, and yet they are often forgotten. However, her love for reflexology began when she massaged her baby's feet for the first time. Then, she began her training at the “Calli” Alternative Therapies Center, with a wise Medicine woman. The well-being she experienced aroused her interest for this Ancestral Science even more, which has led her to complete the Basic and Advanced Foot Reflexology programs, along with the Hand Reflexology at the "Heal Center" of the great Master Roz Zollinger here in Atlanta Georgia. She is also a Reiki healer and a practitioner of Access Bars, both great energy techniques that contribute to the holistic well-being of those who choose it.

Jennifer Young
Jennifer developed her interest in the science of skin and skin care as a young teenager and nurtured her interest with buying professional products and studying the chemistry of the formulas. Jennifer formally entered the esthetic industry in 2004 with a sustained drive for learning, and the strong desire to enrich the education process in esthetic schools and advanced esthetic training programs. Jennifer considers herself a life- long learner and energetically develops programs and inspires her students through all facets of instructional methodology, and imparts this skill set through all levels of training she administers.
Ms. Young has a wealth of experience in esthetic school operations, all aspects of student affairs and training, regulatory compliance, state board guidelines, levels of tier management, school admissions, student retention, and COE guidelines. Her expertise in these areas has made her a key figure in the Atlanta area for esthetic school management and training.
Throughout her esthetics career she never strayed from her original love; working in the treatment room and serving private clients to enrich their lives through beautiful energy.
Her mission statement is to Empower, Uplift and Inspire others through beauty with education and mentorship.
Jennifer has been licensed in Georgia since 2006 as an Esthetician and in 2009 obtained her Instructor of Esthetics license. She also holds a license with the Ga Medical Composite Board as an Assistant Laser Practitioner.
Jennifer hails from Mobile, Alabama – and attended college for liberal arts at UAB in Birmingham, AL – she loves all outdoor activities, horticulture, reading, gourmet dining, fashion and animal rescue.

He has practiced Zen meditation for many years and has completed multiple classes in energy therapy and healing. Behnam has over 24 years of experience in energy therapy. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of Tehran, and a Master's degree in Advertising and Marketing from Iran Television University. Over the past years, he has assisted numerous patients in various countries with their physical and spiritual healing, both in-person and remotely. One session with him will provide you with a sense of tranquility, joy, and well-being.
